Whatever Wednesday: Spiderman Frames

March 17, 2010 by Kaysi 31 Comments

For several months now, my 5 year old has been wanting me to decorate his room with Spiderman. I have been looking everywhere for cheap decorations, but of course you can’t buy them, you have to make them. So when I saw these place mats in the Target dollar bins (I love those bins, I have found some great stuff!) I knew exactly what I was going to do with them. I had some cute square frames in storage.

So I quickly spray painted the frames black and cut the place mats into squares and just like that we finally have some Spiderman decor in this room.

Seriously, what 5 year old boy wouldn’t love this in his room!!
** I also had the idea that you could easily frame the front cover of a coloring book too **
I’m linking this post to these parties

Such a cute idea! All that stuff was on clearance at my Target a few weeks ago for 25 cents! I got a few things, but never thought of framing the placemats! Great idea
