Whatever Wednesday: Baby Blocks

I love making these baby blocks, they are so fun and simple. I plan on making one with my anniversary on it, just haven't gotten there. Here are a few that I have made:

This one I used fabric as the background and then mod podged the letters onto the fabric
This is one is also fabric, just more boyish
I just painted this one and used decorative paper
This one actually has trains, although it's kinda hard to tell
This is my first one, I made it back in February.

I'm linking this post to these parties

If you don't mind me asking..what are you using (Wood wise) to make the blocks? They are too cute! I would love to make one for my little man and whatnot. Please do tell :)

These blocks are so cute! They're popping up everywhere and I plan to make my own! I never thought about using fabric on them though! :)

I believe that I used a 2x6 for them and they are about 12 inches long.
