Whatever Wednesday: Another Dresser Makeover

Recently my two oldest boys moved into the same room together, so we needed a dresser for their clothes. I found one at a garage sale that looked pretty good, but was a little girly. So of course I painted it.

Here it is before (sorry this is such a bad picture)

And here is the after. I wanted to paint it all black but my son wanted blue, so I went with it and I really like the blue. I used chalkboard paint on the drawers so they can draw on it.

Oh how I love paint and how it can really transform anything!!

  13. I really like the idea of putting chalkboard paint on the drawers. My son has the toughest time remember which drawer houses the shirts vs. the shorts vs. the undies. I should cut him some slack though - he's only had it for 8 years! ;)
