Scrapbook Thursday

September 23, 2010 by Kaysi 3 Comments

Here is a two page spread. This was one of those times that it didn’t look as cute as I thought it would in my head. I just had to finish it, put in it his scrapbook and go back and look at it. Although not my best page, I like it and I’m just glad that it is done 🙂
I love decorative paper but sometimes I don’t have paper that matches enough for my liking, so I make my own. I cut out the letters out of white card stock and then added the stripes for color and then inked the edges to have it stand out. I love doing this because I can choose my color scheme.

Good job making your own coordinating paper! I might even be tempted to put a darker, slightly larger, shadow letter under each one to make the pattern you created really pop.

The letters you made look great, that takes a lot of patience!
