Whatever Wednesday: Naughty or Nice?

December 1, 2010 by Kaysi 14 Comments

I am always trying to figure out ways to get my boys to be behave at home. So I thought that it would be a good idea to use the idea of Santa checking his list for naughty and nice children. I made this sign, one side says “nice” and the other side says “naughty.” I really plan on using it and when my boys are naughty they have to turn the sign. It will take some really good behavior to turn to the nice side again 🙂
Here is the Nice side.

I put some presents on there, to remind them that if they are being nice they will get presents at Christmas

Here is the naughty side

Here is some coal on it, so they remember that is what they will get if they have been naughty

Very clever. I'm afraid if I made one for my little man it would always say naughty.

I LOVE it….I've got a sign for my 3 year old that says, "Dear Santa, is it too late to be nice?" Most days, she needs it! 🙂

My 5-yr-old could use this sign. When I tell her that Santa is watching her, she doesn't believe me. Maybe a sign as a reminder cause I promise you, Santa knows when she's been naughty or nice.
