Scrapbook Thursday
This past weekend I went to a baby shower. As one of my gifts, I usually make up 20 thank you cards that they can send out (I wish I would have made some for me too :D). They both are having boys, so I made some cute boy cards. Both of them are about the same, just one with bugs and one with animals.

CSN Stores Review

CSN Stores is one of my favorite stores right now, it is just so awesome!!!! I literally spend hours and hours looking at what they have and they never cease to amaze me what they have. Every time I go to their websites, I found something new that I want to have!!
If you haven't gone to any of their stores, you will be amazed by what they have to offer. There is so much. They have cute little nesting tables, baby furniture, rugs, and so much more.
Here are a few things that I have just fallen in love with!

These are awesome, you get tables but they only take up the space of one!

This rug would look amazing in my master bedroom!!!
Isn't this set so cute?!?
I know that you are now dying to go check out CSN Stores!! So don't hesitate and just go!!
Whatever Wednesday: Paper Pumpkin
I saw this cute idea here and had to make one! Instead of using 6 inch strips, I used 24 1"x12" strips to make mine. I punched a holed in each strip and connected them on with a brad on the top and the bottom. Then I added a paper stem and some raffia. Super easy!

Tutorial Tuesday: Autumn Blocks
Do you remember this post? Well I finally made my autumn/winter blocks!!
This is how I made them:
1) I took a 2x6 and 2x4 and cut them into various sizes and then painted them white
2) I then cut out scrapbook paper to fit each block
3) I then cut out the letters to spell autumn
4) Using mod podge, I put the paper and letter on each block
Here is the winter on the back of the blocks. I love them!

Scrapbook Thursday
Here is a two page spread. This was one of those times that it didn't look as cute as I thought it would in my head. I just had to finish it, put in it his scrapbook and go back and look at it. Although not my best page, I like it and I'm just glad that it is done :)
I love decorative paper but sometimes I don't have paper that matches enough for my liking, so I make my own. I cut out the letters out of white card stock and then added the stripes for color and then inked the edges to have it stand out. I love doing this because I can choose my color scheme.

Tutorial Tuesday: Super Easy and Cute Pumpkin
This week is the beginning of fall! I'm so excited for fall. I love the weather (especially now that I don't live in Wyoming and it doesn't snow) and the changing of the leaves. It's just a fun season. So I actually like to decorate for it.
This is a super cute and easy pumpkin to make. It's so easy that my 5 and 3 year old boys actually made these, with little help.
This is what you'll need, toilet paper, fabric, stick and rafia.
This is how you make it
1) Take your fabric and make a 2 x 2 foot square and place your toilet paper in the middle. The bigger the roll, the fatter the pumpkin
2) Stuff the fabric into the hole of the roll
3) Continue stuffing the fabric all the way around the roll

Scrapbook Thursday
Every time my boys get a new scrapbook, I make a title page with a 8x10 picture and their name. Now that I have three boys, I just do the same design/set up for each of them because it is just too hard to come up with unique ideas every time. I usually change the colors a little bit. In this case, I focused on one color more than the others. This is a great way to use all of that scrap ribbon we all have. Each piece is only about an inch long.

Whatever Wednesday: Carseat Redo
I have several people redo car seats and strollers. I have really wanted to do it, but just didn't. Well I found the most perfect fabric at Walmart (I couldn't believe it) and so I decided redo our little car seat. I encounter a couple of problems but overall I think that it turned out really well!!

So this is the before
And here is the after
So what I did was took the old car seat cover and just put fabric over it. I pinned it down and then sewed the new fabric onto it. The cover is padded, so I didn't want to replace it.
This was actually one of the hardest parts to do.... I wanted something waterproof so I put vinyl over my fabric. I soon learned that the sewing machine doesn't like vinyl and it sticks easily.
For the canopy, I took the old canopy, cut it up and used it for a pattern. The tricky parts were here for sure. I had to sew the green fabric on the bars and trying to figure that out with the machine was interesting.
I love the outcome though, it just looks so clean and new!!
My little boy was just as excited as me, he jumped right in :)
