Tasty Thursday: Play Dough

I know that this recipe isn't very tasty, it doesn't taste good at all, too salty. Anyway, spring break is here or coming up, so this is fun thing to do with the kids when they aren't in school.

Play Dough

2 cups flour
1 cup salt (this is a lot of salt, so most likely will need to get some if you aren't stocked up)
2 Tbs oil
4 tsp cream of tarter
2 cups water
food coloring

Mix all together and cook on stove top for 3 minutes. Knead the dough until it is ready to be played with.

I've always made play dough on the stove top. Yours doesn't need to cook at all? That would be great for the kids to make it themselves. Thanks for sharing. And don't forget about my Before Blogging Party. As creative as you are, I'm sure you've been crafting since long before blogging.

That sounds fun and simple. I love that I could have the kids dump in the ingredients. Very cool! Thanks for the idea. Maybe make your own green play dough day! Thanks again.
