Silhouette SD

Silhouette has now launched a new machine called the Cameo (it's 12 inches instead of 9!). They will no longer sell the Silhouette SD. Right now, they are on sale for $175 and they will go until they are gone. The supplies are limited, so if you want to get a Silhouette SD, don't wait. Use code SIMPLE. Also, all products are 20% off right now, use SIMPLE for that too.

UPDATE:

There was some concern about Silhouette still selling the products for the Silhouette SD after it is discontinued. I contacted them and the company will still sell the mats and 9" products

Okay, so for those of us who just recently got the SD what will we do for supplies later on?? I'm so confused by this, I think it's the first time I've ever gotten anything that was discontinued so soon. I got mine in May!

No way! I just got mine! Grrrrr. Do you know if we'll be able to buy materials later on? My blades and mats are all fine, but they might not be fine in 6 months....

Hi,
first things first. I adore your blog. Thanks a lot.
Now to this post. Since you have a silhouette I just ask you, because I haven't figured it out yet. I live in Germany and here the plugs from the power cords are different as is the voltage or whatever it is called(?)Does the Silhouette have a power cord that connects to a wall plug or to a computer? If the latter I won't have to get a converter thingi...
Because I really would love to have a silhouette, but they are rare here. And I am sure I could easily get one from the US.
Hope you know what I mean.

Catrin,
The machine has a USB cord that plugs into the computer and a power cord that plugs into the outlet. It is a two prong plug. Hope that this helps

Thanks a lot for the answer. Yeah it does help. It means I need a converter thingi, if I buy it in the US,
Thank a lot.
Have a marvelous day (I think it's nighttime where you are, so maybe "have a good night" is more appropriate;-)
