Tasty Thursday: Chicken Parmesan

Have you notice that we like pasta at our house? Well we love it! But I like some variety, instead of just spaghetti. So here's a good recipe for some variety.

Chicken Parmesan

This is what you will:
Chicken breasts
Rtiz crackers
garlic salt
salt and pepper
3 eggs
spaghetti sauce
mozzarella or swiss cheese

1) Grind crackers until they are very fine. Mix a dash of garlic salt, pepper and salt into the crackers.
2) Dip chicken into crackers, then eggs and into the crackers again.
3) Fry in oil until chicken is fully cooked (about 20 minutes)
4) Put chicken into casserole dish and cover with spaghetti sauce and cheese.
5) Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Serve over spaghetti.

Just in case you were wondering, I didn't eat all of that huge piece of chicken....

So here it is, with that horrible neck....

And here it is after, much better!
To do the ruffles, I used the sleeves and used this tutorial. There are two ruffles on it.

For the sleeves, I used this tutorial.

Easter Wreaths

I love it when I inspire people to create and craft, it makes me so happy! Well my Easter wreath has done just that. I've had several links and emails telling me that they have made one. So here are some that people are making!

Wendy emailed me these super cute wreaths. She made two of them! I love her different color grass and ribbon in the middle!
I really thought about getting themed eggs, but the "cheap" part of me decided to go with the $.67 eggs instead. So I'm so glad that she did it, because it's so cute!! I'm so tempted to make this one for my boys' door!
Allison emailed me her wreath, I love the ribbon in the middle and the shiny eggs!

Jamie from Two Plus Jilly made one at the same time as me! I love that bow!

Amy from Country Radio Mom made this super cute one!
Ranae sent this one, love it with the yarn!

Ashley from Bits N Pieces made this one, love the bright eggs!

Did I inspire you to make an egg wreath? If so, leave a comment with a link or email me (kaysiscrafts@gmail.com) with a pictures so I can add you too!

Tutorial Tuesday: Petal Shirt

Here's another quick and easy redo on a turtle neck.

This is how I made it:
1) I took the turtleneck and cut off the neck
2) With the fabric from the neck, I cut up several petals. I used the whole neck.
3) Starting from the top, I pinned on the petals and did three layers of them.
4) Starting from the bottom, I sewed each layer onto the shirt.
5) I then hemmed the neck and that's it! Super easy!

Now that it's spring, I'm going to make it short sleeves.
