A shot at life

Did you know that 1 out of 5 children in the world don't get the vaccines that they need to survive?
It's true.  I didn't know about it either until I went to Evo conference.

This is so important that I had to share it with you all.

Shot at life is a foundation that helps kids in the world to get those ever important shots.

I had no clue how much I was taking the shots that I get my kids for granted.  I have even complained about having to take my baby in to get their shots.  Never again will I complain about something that these poor children don't have.

Did you know that:
~ One child dies every 20 seconds from a disease that could have been prevented by a vaccine.
~That children are disabled or killed every year from diseases like  pneumonia,polio, diarrhea and measles.
~Pneumonia and diarrhea are highest causing disease for children under 5.

Did you know that you can help these children out?
 Vaccinating one child for protection pneumonia, diarrhea, polio and measles is achieved through just $20.

Being a mother, this one differently hit me.  We need to help these children hit their milestones in life!  Milestones like going to school or taking a road trip.  We need to help these children have a shot at life!

If you would like to help these wonderful children out, go to Shot@Life and make a donation.  You can make one as little as $5, everything helps!

In the month of August, there will be 31 blog posts and for every comment on these blog post, they will donate $20.
Commenting=vaccinations for these children!

Please don't ignore this.  This is our chance to help out!  If you don't want to donate, at least participate and comment in the blog posts!

Just donated the smallest amount-- it's comforting that something so great can still be accomplished from that. Also, bookmarked the ShotatLife site for future donations, Lord willing, and will be praying for this UNFoundation.~ :) God bless!~~
