Women. We are awesome. We really are. If you think about all the things that we do and how talented we are. We are the masters of multitasking, we are able to get things done with a baby in one hand and a toddler on our leg. We go through pain and illness to have children and still continue to strive and succeed. Women are amazing!
Walmart has realized this and now has added a new section of their website, Empowering Women Together.
Walmart has a commitment to empower women world wide, so they are focusing on helping them build their lives and make their lives better by letting us buy unique products from women small businesses around the world. I love that they are using their size and using it for good. Good that these women wouldn’t get without them.
With every purchase, these women feel more lifted and give them the motivation to keep going and keep working on building their lives. I know when I get a great comment or feature on my blog, it gives me confidence and helps me what to continue to create and do more.
Empowering Women Together is going to offer more than 200 unique items from more than 19 different countries around the world. To see some of the things of things, check out their Pinterest board. There is several different items that you can get from these talented women.
Empowering Women together is part of Walmart’s Global Women’s Economic commitment to help source out billions of dollars from women owned businesses. To learn more about this program, watch this short video (it’s only 1 1/2 minutes long).
I love when companies do things like this, I love hearing about the good in the world. I love that I have the opportunity to share it with so many people because I truly think it’s a great cause. In the blogging community we are taught to see other bloggers as our friends, a networking group to help one another, not as our competition. This is what Walmart is trying to do for these women, helping them out to build a better life. Give them resources that they may not have. Let’s help these women grow and succeed.
