Hi I’m Amy, and I enjoy sharing home decor ideas, crafts, cards, scrapbooking and sewing over at The Happy Scraps. I’m so excited to be here at Keeping It Simple today, sharing a teacher gift. This could be used as a Teacher Appreciation gift, End of the Year gift, or just a simple gift to let your child’s teacher know that you are thankful for them.
I asked my teacher friends and did a poll on Facebook, and found out that teachers like blank cards that they can use for whatever they may need them for. SO, I made some cards! The best thing about making cards like this, is that you can just use scraps of paper that you have. I did pick up the gray paper to use for the actual card, but all the shapes and colored papers were scraps.
Here are a few different designs that I came up with.
I thought that a pack of 10 was a good amount, so once I had all those cards put together, I stacked them up.
If you are giving cards, then you’ll want to make sure to include the envelopes for them. I put my stack of cards on top of the envelopes and then tied them up with some bakers twine. You could put this in a cute gift bag, or you could give it to the teachers just like this.
I sure hope that my kids teachers like them! And I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt to give them a little bit of chocolate along with it.
Here are a few other teacher gifts that I’ve made over the last couple of years, and as always, they are very easy and quick to put together. The Dry Erase Marker Bouquet, End of Year Teacher gift, and the Pencil Bouquet.
I just want to say a big Thank You to Kaysi for having me today. I hope she is enjoying time snuggling that cute new little baby!

This is a great idea, Amy! I might have to do this for Thomas' teacher. I am sure she would love it!

Love this idea. I think I'll make a few sets and send them to the grandkids to give to their teachers at year end. Thanks.
