Homemade Spaghetti Sauce #HealthyTraditions and GIVEAWAY

Disclosure: I have been given product to review and have been compensated for this post.  All opinions, ideas and content is 100% my own.

This past year I have been trying really hard to become more healthy and I have been trying to get my family to be more healthy too.  Since June I have been exercising regularly, eating less junk food and trying to cook homemade meals that are healthy.  Spaghetti is one of my absolute favorite meals.  We seriously have it once a week (usually on Wednesday, those are my long days and spaghetti is so easy to make).  This is the recipe I grew up eating and I love it!

This is what you'll need:
1 pound hamburger
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 cups celery, chopped
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 15oz can tomato sauce
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
Salt and pepper to taste

1) Brown hamburger
2) In a large pot, add all ingredients and cook until veggies are tender.
3) Serve over spaghetti noodles

To make it even healthier, you could put it on whole grain spaghetti noodles.

Well you know what goes in must come out...

The Squatty Potty toilet stool is an invention that helps make going easier.  It makes you sit in a squatting position rather than a sitting position.  And that helps you remove your waste quicker and more completely.

I really thought that it worked well.   Without going into too many details, because I'm sure you don't want to hear too much about my visits to the bathroom, I felt like it did the job and I felt cleaned out.  My kids have enjoyed it too.  It's really nice to have with my little girl who is potty training right now.  They also have a spray that helps with the odor in the bathroom.  You spray the water before you go, it's great!

I know we don't like to talk about it, but going to the bathroom is important for your health.  Being all backed up is not a good thing.
