Valentine's from the past

I love making little Valentine's for my kids to take to their classes.  I remember doing it with my mom and loving it, so I'm doing it with them.  Here are some that I have made in the past couple years.

Crab Won Tons

This Super Bowl is this weekend, will you be watching?  Will you be hosting a party?  I answer yes to both of those!  I love to make yummy appetizers for the game, so I had to share one of my favorites!  Crab won tons.  I just love them and they are so yummy!
crab won tons
You will need:
1 package of crab (or imitation crab)
2 packages of cream cheese
2 green onions
1/4 cup milk
1 package won tons
Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl (except won tons).  Once good and mixed, fill won tons.  Use water on your fingertips and gently wipe the edges of the won tons so they will stick together.  Fry in oil until golden brown.  Serve with sweet and sour sauce.

Glitter Candle

Who doesn’t love glitter?  I am seriously loving it right now, so I decided to make this fun glitter candle.

This is how I made it:
I cut out some vinyl with my Cuttlebug.
Somedays I just get plain lazy and I don’t want to get out my Expressions 2 to cut vinyl, so just use my Cuttlebug instead.  It' only takes a couple of seconds and it does a great job cutting vinyl (or paper).

I put the vinyl onto the candle.

Then I put a layer of  mod podge onto the the candle.

I then sprinkled some glitter onto the mod podge.

I peeled off the vinyl.

And that’s it!

I did the same thing to a red candle using silver glitter.

Motivate Me Monday #158

Hello everyone!  I hope that you had an amazing weekend and week.  It was a really busy week for me, lots of getting ready for my son's 4th birthday party (that was on Friday) and then I am going to the chiropractor once a week to work on my hip because it so out, which means I get to travel lots.  So I didn't have time to go through the links.

Now let's get to the party!  I'm excited to see what you've been making!
