Funny Face Pot

My kids went to the summer reading program at our library and it was so awesome!  The theme was dig into reading.  They had such a blast and every day they had a different kind of craft, they were in heaven.  One day they made some funny face pots and then planted grass in it for the hair.  I loved it so much that I wanted to make one too!

I took a regular pot and then spray painted it green.

Using my Cricut and vinyl, I cut out different face shapes and then put it onto the pot.

Personal Mini Pizzas

I know that I have said this before, my when it come to pizza it's hard to find one pizza that everyone likes.  We usually end up making a cheese for the kids and then a supreme for the adults.  It's okay but I personally don't like pizza sauce and some of the kids like other toppings than cheese.  So we make personalized pizzas.  They are so great and the kids LOVE them!

Mozzarella cheese

Thaw out the rolls just like you would if you were making bread.  I used the greased cupcake pan so they wouldn't stick together and then covered it with Saran wrap.

Once the dough is thawed out, you roll it out and then put on the toppings.

Cook in the oven for 13-15 minutes at 350 degrees.  And enjoy your personal pizza!!

My kids absolutely loved these.  So much that they had two each.  You can combine two of the rolls dough and make a bigger pizza too.  I like the mini size :).

Motivate Me Monday #184

Hello!!!  I am so glad that you are here today!!  How was your weekend?  Since we've been on vacation a ton this summer, we stayed home and got caught up on our house.  We did go around the ranch we live on and checked out the wild life.  The birds here are awesome.  We even passed a Sandhills crane but it flew away before I could take a picture.

Can you believe that July is almost over??  School is starting so soon! We start back up in 3 weeks.  Part of me is excited to have a schedule and structure and part is going to miss the time with my kids and the no schedule.

Thanks to everyone who linked up last week, it was amazing party!  There were a ton of recipes on there, so if you need a new one, go check them out.

Kleenex Hand Towels #CleanHands

This weekend we had a little get together at our house.  It was a little pizza party, we let all of the kids make their own pizzas.  It was really fun.  The kids just loved it.  Since the kids were going to be making the food, they of course had to wish their hands.  And we had to make sure that they were actually clean.

They used soap and then instead of a hand towel, they used Kleenex hand towels.  It's great because you know that they will have #CleanHands.  Several times my kids will wash their hands and then dry them on their shirts, their dirty shirts.  This way, no dirty germs will be put back onto they hands after washing them.

The hand towels are dye free, soft, fragrance free and highly absorbent.  The box fits perfectly on the counter top and are great to wipe up the counter when needed. The pop up system helps to keep the other towels clean.
They kids were really excited about using them, they thought they were pretty cool.

Once their hands were clean, it was time to make the pizzas.  They got to roll out the dough and then put their toppings on top.  My kids definitely enjoyed being able to put what toppings they like on them.

It was a yummy dinner!  The kids absolutely loved it and most of them had two!

We had dessert and then played games afterwards.  Playing with kids is always entertaining and interesting.  It was a fun evening!

Next time you have a get together, you should try out Kleenex hand towels, they are great!

I would love it if you followed along.

Kleenex Hand Towels {Party Prep}

What do you do to get ready for a party?  For me, it's all able really cleaning my house.  I would be horrified if people come over and saw what it normally looks like (a disaster).  One area that I really focus on, is the guest bathroom.  It's my boys' bathroom and it's pretty disgusting.  If you have boys, you under stand how bad it can be around the toilet.... apparently they don't know how to aim.
For my get together this weekend, instead of using a hand towel, I'm using Kleenex disposable hand towels.  With these I know that my guests will get #CleanHands when they dry their hands.  I don't know about your kids, but sometimes my kids will "wash" their hands (using only water) and then dry them.  So the towel is getting lovely bathroom germs on it.

I love the cute design of the Kleenex box.  They even have several different designs that are perfect for the holidays too.  Since they are around $3, you won’t break the bank if you want to get lots of different designs.
After I get the house all clean, it's time to prepare the food!  When it comes to the party, isn't it the dessert that is the most important?  When I leave a birthday party, the cake is what leaves the lasting impression.  So for our get together, I made one of my absolute favorite desserts, striped delight.  I decided to add some smashed M&M’s on the top to add more flavor and of course chocolate!

Do you have any good party planning tips??  Do you go all out and with decorations or do you focus more on the food?

I would love it if you followed along.
