I’ve been putting in my goals and adding my activities each day. It’s fun to see my points go up every day and to see my progress and hopefully soon that weight number will continue to go down :). And soon I can use the app for track my weight management.
When I don’t have enough protein before or after my workouts, I am completely drained for the rest of the day. It’s just a nice way to get refueled and help my muscles recover.
Tip #4- Exercise regularly
This is one is pretty obvious but it’s still hard to do. Set a goal on your exercising. 3-5 times a week is what I try to do right now. I think that it’s important to do something, even if it’s just for 30 minutes and not very intense.
It’s amazing how you feel after you get done with a hard workout. I was pretty happy after I finished a 3.5 mile run in the hot sun.
Tip #5- Sugarfree gum.
I actually really love gum and am amazed by how much it helps me fight my eating urges. When I’m chewing gum, I’m less likely to go into the pantry and just start snacking. I’m also doing a sugar fast right now, so when I need something sweet to get the salty taste out of my mouth, I chew gum.
How are you staying healthy? What are ways that keep you on track?
