I headed to Walmart and picked up a few varieties of the egg and spring rolls from Tai Pei.  I found them in the freezer section along with the other Asian frozen foods.  These egg rolls hopefully will bring me #TaiPeiGoodFortune in the New Year.

I decided to get the Pork Egg Rolls, Vegetable Egg Rolls and the Mini Chicken Spring Rolls.

Holiday Game Idea: Disney Planes Don’t Eat Pete Game #PlanestotheRescue

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #PlanesToTheRescue #CollectiveBias
Playing games is one of my favorite things to do with my family.  I just love it when there is a fun game that we all can play and we all can enjoy.  Every Christmas Eve we play games to get ready for Christmas. It's is a LOT of fun!  We play games and when someone wins they get to pick a prize from our prize table.  We play games like Bingo and Don't Eat Pete.  Since I am always looking for toys that will make great prizes for the games and I get really excited when I find toys that are great prices.  Right now a bunch of the Disney Planes toys are on Rollback at Walmart.  This Disney Planes Fire & Rescue Die-Cast Vehicles set was perfect because it was on Rollback for $14.97 from $19.97.  Plus I can use it for 3 prizes so it makes it even better!  Disney #PlanesToTheRescue!
#ad Planes-Don't-Eat-Pete-Printable #Planestotherescue
I headed to Walmart to get the toys.  I found them in a few spots.  I found the die cast vehicles that I bought, the  Disney Planes Fire & Rescue Deluxe Talking Vehicle ( on Rollback at $19.97), and Fire and Rescue Character Assortment die-cast set (on Rollback at $4.97 ) back in the toy section.  I spotted the Disney Planes Flight to the Finish Speedway (on Rollback at $24.97) in the front of the store on a pallet with lots of different toys.
#ad #PlanestotheRescue (1) #ad #PlanestotheRescue (2)
I got a couple of the toys.  They are perfect for prizes but also for presents too.  My little boy is going to love this remote control plane!!  And the little die cast vehicles are going to be perfect for prizes.
#ad Planes-Don't-Eat-Pete-Printable #Planestotherescue (2)
Since my kids love Planes, I made up a Don't Eat Pete printable that was of the Planes characters.
#ad Planes-Don't-Eat-Pete-Printable #Planestotherescue (5)
The game is very simple and very fun to play.  You have someone go out of the room and then everyone else picks one of the characters to be "Pete".
#ad Planes-Don't-Eat-Pete-Printable #Planestotherescue (6)
The goal of the game is to not eat Pete.  The person who was out of the room starts eating the candies off of the board.  If they start to eat the one that is "Pete" everyone else yells, "Don't Eat Pete" and then their turn is up.
#ad Planes-Don't-Eat-Pete-Printable #Planestotherescue (8)
If you can eat all 8 of the candies without eating Pete, then you win.  And that's when someone would get to win a prize!   It was actually pretty difficult to win.  But since you get to eat candy, everyone wins :).

What kinds of traditions do you have for Christmas Eve? What are some of your favorite holidays games to play during the holidays?

Easy Treat Idea- Quaker® Life Cereal Bars #QuakerUp #LoveMyCereal

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and Quaker. All opinions are mine alone. #CollectiveBias #LoveMyCereal #QuakerUp
We are HUGE fans of cereal in our house.  The amount of cereal we go through in a week is crazy.  I #LoveMyCereal so much that I could have it for any meal of the day.  If I don't have cereal in the morning for breakfast, I usually have some kind of cereal for lunch.  One of our favorite brands of cereal is Quaker®, we love it!  I thought that it would be fun to make a fun treat with one of my favorite cereals- Quaker® Life cereal.  I made it for a treat for my kids but I also thought that it would be a fun treat for a neighbor or friend.  Something that you could give any time of the year, not just during the holidays.  I made up a fun printable to go with it.
#spon Quaker-Life-Cereal-Bars #QuakerUp
I headed to Walmart and got several of the Quaker® cereals.  I found them in the cereal and breakfast aisle.  I also found the rest of the ingredients at Walmart, I found those mostly in the baking aisle.
#spon #QuakerUp
Here are the cereals I got, these will #QuakerUp our pantry :). I love them as cereal but I also love to use the Quaker® Simply Granola on my yogurt, for a little crunch and flavor.  I also bought the Quaker® Real Medleys® and Quaker® Oatmeal Squares.  They are going to be perfect for breakfast this week!
#spon Quaker-Life-Cereal-Bars #QuakerUp (2)
This is what you'll need for the Quaker® Life cereal bars:
1 bag mini marshmallows
4 Tbsp butter
3/4 chocolate chunks
#spon Quaker-Life-Cereal-Bars #QuakerUp (4)
1) Melt the butter and marshmallows in the microwave.  I put them into the microwave in 30 seconds increments until it was all melted and smooth.  I also left a few marshmallows out so I could use it as a topping.
#spon Quaker-Life-Cereal-Bars #QuakerUp (6)
2) Add the Quaker® Life cereal and stir it until the marshmallows are evenly coating the cereal.  Then add the chocolate chunks and stir.
3) Place into a casserole dish and let cool for 30 minutes.
#spon Quaker-Life-Cereal-Bars #QuakerUp (7)
While the cereal bars cooled, I made some fun printable to go with them.
#spon Quaker-Life-Cereal-Bars #QuakerUp (8)
I cut out the tags and then put them onto a plate of the cereal bars.  What a fun way to tell someone that you appreciate them.  These are perfect for friends or even family.
#spon Quaker-Life-Cereal-Bars #QuakerUp (13)
You can even do little individual ones.  I think that these would be so fun to give my kids after school as their snack :).
#spon Quaker-Life-Cereal-Bars #QuakerUp (14)
What is your favorite Quaker® cereal?  What fun things have you made with it?  Let me know in the comments!
