Are you ready for some football?!?!? Are you going to attend or have a football party this year? We definitely are! We are huge football fans (even though our team is out of the playoffs already) we will still be watching and we still be enjoying these awesome party foods! I created some fun printables to make party foods ready for the big game. Plus this bacon cheddar cheese ball is amazing. Pair it with Ritz crackers and it will be a huge crowd pleaser!
I headed to Walmart to get stocked up on some awesome foods for the football game. Coke is our favorite drink, so of course we got some of that. There is an awesome coupon that you can get $1.50 off when you buy Coke products and Ritz crackers. I found the Coke and Ritz in the seasonal section at my Walmart.
I also picked up some Digiorno pizza. I bought the stuffed crust pizza because I knew that everyone would enjoy it.
I got the food home and we were ready to #PreparetoParty.
For the bacon cheddar cheese ball this is what you’ll need:
2 packages of cream cheese
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 to 1 cup bacon bits
3-4 green onions, chopped finely
Pecans, chopped finely
Ritz crackers
Add all the of the ingredients together (except pecans). I found the easiest way to do it is to knead it together with your hands (like kneading dough).
To turn the cheese ball into a football, I put plastic wrap down and put a spoonful of pecans onto the plastic wrap. Then I put a spoonful of the cheese ball onto the pecans.
I wrapped the plastic wraps around the cheese ball and then shaped it into a football. Then using white vinyl, I put some laces onto it. Super easy, fun and perfect for the party!
Now time for the set up for the table. I made a field out of a 12×24 green card stock and put vinyl onto it to turn it into field. I also made some field goals out of yellow craft sticks.
For the Coke, I made some fun labels for the bottles. These are perfect for any drink but they are best on Coke :). Get the printable here.
I also made some flags to put into the individual foods. I just cut them out and taped them onto toothpicks. They would be great for desserts, cupcakes or how I used them- in the Digiorno pizzas.
And that’s it!! The football party was super easy and looked great.
These cheddar bacon cheese ball footballs were amazing! I love having the individual cheese balls because they are so easy and fun!
And look at how good and delicious the pizza bites look. I loved the stuffed crust, so cheesy and so good.
And the finishing touch, a nice refreshing drink of Coke. What a perfect way to enjoy the football game.
What is your favorite appetizer for football games? If you love cheese balls, you HAVE TO try this one out, it’s amazing!
