1st Birthday Party Ideas

April 30, 2014 by Kaysi 2 Comments

This past week my baby turned one!!!  It’s crazy.  I wasn’t to do something special for him, but I wanted to something simple.  We just had a little party for our family with a few decorations.  Even though it was simple, it turned out good and he had a blast.

Here are the cupcakes.  In order to get the striped look, I put the blue frosting into the pastry bag and frosted a couple of cupcakes.  Then I added some green.  The blue was on the outside and the green inside.  I kept on doing that, just alternating the colors.

I made chicken nuggets and fries, perfect for a one year old.

Here is my cutey in his party hat.  I was so excited that he actually wore it!.

Lastly, I made him a cute simple birthday shirt.  I just cut out the fabric with my Silhouette and then sewed it onto the shirt.
