4th of July is one holiday that I actually like to make (or buy) shirts for. I like to be able to have them all in red, white and blue when we go to the parade and do fireworks.
Well with the craziness of this summer, I was debating if I really wanted to make my kids some 4th of July shirts, because the last thing I need right now is more stress or something else to do. But then someone on my facebook page shared this link with me and I had to make them! They are so much fun and super easy to make!
I used a white shirt, paint, glitter and pipe cleaners to make the fireworks.
I took 4 pipe cleaners and twisted them together. Then I opened up the ends to make this shape.
I put some glitter in the paint and then dipped the pipe cleaner into the paint. Then I painted the shirt. I did moved the pipe cleaners a circle was I stamped the shirt. Make sure you put something in the middle of the shirt so it doesn’t go through.
I did the same thing for the blue color. I made another “stamp” out of pipe cleaners for the blue paint.
And now for the words, I used my heat transfer vinyl and CAMEO to make the flags and the saying.
I ironed on the heat transfer.
And that’s it!! Super fun, huh?
I liked it so much that I made a shirt for each of my boys.
