A couple years ago my daughter was obsessed with rainbows and so we had a rainbow birthday party. It was very fun and I thought that the food that we had would be perfect for St. Patrick’s Day and since it’s coming up, I thought I would share with you the simple foods we had :).
The main thing that we had were these super cute and fun rainbow cupcakes. They were super easy to make, I just made up a cake mix and then separated it into 6 difference batters and then put food coloring into it. Then I filled the liners with the different colors of the rainbow. I then baked them and then frosted them with vanilla frosting. Then I took a rainbow candy and put it into the cup cake, using a tooth pick to hold it up. And lastly I finished it off with a gold candy.
Here is what they look in the inside, isn’t it fun??
Another quick and easy rainbow treat is the fruit rainbow. I had red grapes (strawberries would be even better for the red), oranges, pineapple, green apples, blue berries and then purple grapes. You can added yogurt or marshmallows to it for clouds :).
