Now that Thanksgiving is over, it is officially Christmas time!! I’m so excited for the Christmas season, it’s such a fun time for holiday baking and creating fun things with the kids. Every year I like to have the kids in the kitchen with me, creating and making memories. We love to make some fun treats, like this awesome peanut butter and chocolate cheesecake. We also love to create gingerbread houses together. This year I thought it would be fun to make them out of #PBandG, peanut butter and graham crackers.
I headed to Walmart to get all of the things that I needed for the cheesecake and for the gingerbread houses. I found the Skippy peanut butter with in the aisle with the peanut butter.
And I found the Honey Maid graham crackers in the cookies section. I found the pie crust in the baking aisle. I was so excited when I saw the pie crust, I’m all for easy crusts!

This is what you’ll need for the cheesecake:
Skippy Peanut Butter
1 Honey Maid graham cracker crust
1 jar hot fudge
1 1/4 cups frozen whip cream (thawed)
6 oz. cream cheese (softened)
3/4 cup powdered sugar
Chopped Peanuts
Mini chocolate chips
1) Put about 1/4 of the fudge into a sandwich bag and then heat for about 10 seconds in the microwave. Cut off the tip of the bag and drizzle it all over the graham cracker crust.
2) In a mixer, whip the cream cheese until fluffy. Then add 1/2 jar of fudge, whip cream and sugar. Mix until it is smooth.
3) Spread evenly over the crust.
4) Add the remaining fudge into a sandwich bag and heat for 10 seconds. Also add some peanut butter into a sandwich bag. Cut off the tip and drizzle both onto the cheesecake.
5) Add chopped peanuts and chocolate chips and then freeze for 2 hours. Cut and serve and enjoy all the sweet goodness! It was so easy to make and it was so yummy!
For the graham cracker houses, I used some decorating bags and tips and put the peanut butter and frosting into them. That made it much easier to decorate the houses with. Plus the tips gave the peanut butter a fun design.
I used the peanut butter to put the houses together. Since it’s thicker, it helped keep the houses together. I put the peanut into the sides of the graham crackers and also on the outside, so my kids could put the candy onto it.
I had all of my kids decorate their own houses. I helped them put it together and they decorated it with candy. They had so much fun!
Here is one that my son made, isn’t it awesome? I love how easy they are to make with the graham crackers!
And here are all of the houses they made. What a fun family day we had!
We LOVE both peanut butter and graham crackers at our house. I am always having to get more of both of them, we just can’t get enough of them. I love that they had a family size in both things, makes me not have to take as many shopping trips. Right now there is a $.50 off coupon off of Honey Maid graham crackers. You should print it off and get some graham crackers and peanut butter so you can make these awesome gingerbread houses too!
