Tornado Valentine with Printable

February 11, 2016 by Kaysi 5 Comments

My oldest son is obsessed with natural disasters, he is just fascinated by them.  Since this is his last year of doing class valentines (insert sad face from me, I’m not ready for him to be in middle school next year:(….) I thought it would be a good time to do a valentine that had a tornado on it.  He made these 100% himself (after I designed the printable) and I think that they turned out great.

This is how we made them:

All you need is some licorice (or really any twisty candy) and the printable that I made.  You can get that here.  He then cut them out with a paper trimmer.
Then we just stapled them onto the candy  It’s that easy!  We both are very excited about how these turned out!
