Womens Winter Sweatshirts and Shirts
Oh winter, how I dislike you. I grew up in Wyoming so winter usually started in October and ended in May. I never liked the cold, but I dealt with it. Now that I don’t live in Wyoming anymore and live in a place that has mild winters, I have turned into a baby when it comes to the cold :). I wanted to make myself a few winter sweatshirts to show how I really feel about the cold and winter. I also made a few other long sleeve shirts for fun too :).
I didn’t write a tutorial for these winter sweatshirts but if you want to get a full tutorial on how to cut and press the heat transfer vinyl, check out this post. Also here is a quick video to show you the process of it too.
For all of these shirts, I used heat transfer vinyl and used my heat press to pressed them onto the fabric. I put it to 305 degrees and I pressed for 15 seconds for each layer. I cut out the designs with my Silhouette CAMEO. Before cutting I mirrored the image and cut the design out of the heat transfer vinyl with the shiny/plastic side down on the mat.
The majority of these sweatshirts and shirts came from Walmart or Hobby Lobby.
This first sweatshirt is my favorite, I saw it online somewhere and knew that I needed to make myself one because when I am cold, all I want to do is get under a blanket, get a hot drink and watch tv. I have a feeling that I am going to be wearing this sweatshirt for most of January. You can get the cut file here:
For this winter sweatshirt, I used a stretch heat transfer vinyl in white.
Like I said before, I don’t like winter. So I made a sweatshirt that told everyone that :). You can get the cut file here:
For this sweatshirt I used the stretch heat transfer vinyl in the color Sea Glass.
This next one isn’t a sweatshirt but a long sleeve tee. I know that getting down and being depressed in a serious thing that happens during winter, especially in January for me. So this shirt is perfect to perk yourself and remind yourself that Target fixes everything, even if you’re sad :). Nothing better than retail therapy. You can get the cut file for this shirt here:
For this Target shirt, I used an electric heat transfer vinyl in the color tungsten. It is a really pretty charcoal gray with a shimmer to it.
This next sweatshirt is one that I made for my daughter. It doesn’t have to do with winter but it’s still cute :). She requested a “caticorn” (a cat unicorn) for her shirt, so I made this one up for her. For this one I took several images that I had already had to make it, so there is no SVG cut file, sorry.
For the heat transfer vinyl, I used the stretch HTV in white, a rainbow holographic for the flowers and a glitter HTV in silver.
Make sure to check out all the other shirts that I have made!
