Ikea Expedit Shelf in my craft room!

For the first time in my life, I actually have a craft room!  And it is just a craft room, I don’t have to share it with the guest bed or with the washer and dryer!  I can’t tell you how excited I am about this. I finally have a room that I can just decorate super girly, with lots of ruffles and flowers!  I don’t know about you, but I have a ton of stuff, so I decided that I’m going to be super organized with my craft room.  So I deiced to go to Ikea in Draper before I left Utah and get lot of things to help me stay organized.

Here is my craft room before I started working on it.  It’s so boring and sad.  The walls were a very light yellow.

This is what I have done so far.  I’m still not done with it (because I have a lot of stuff).  But I just had to share with you this awesome shelf and desk.  I cannot wait to fill it up with my craft supplies!

Isn’t it so cool!  It’s called the Expedit shelf and desk.  The main reason why I picked this shelf was because the square holes are big enough to fit my 12x12 scrapbooks and paper!  Not many bookshelves are deep enough (or high enough) to fit my scrapbooks.

Hopefully in a week or two I will have this room all decorated and then I can show you everything.  So far, I am LOVING it!!
