Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Candy Bar Homemade Valentines with Free Printable

January 21, 2015 by Kaysi 3 Comments

If you are a Mickey or Minnie Mouse fan, then you are going to have to make these because they are so much fun, so easy and so stinkin’ easy to make!  Seriously I love how these turned out!  I wanted to come up with an idea that you didn’t need to have an electronic cutter to make.  So I came up with these fun Mickey and Minnie candy bars.  Seriously ANYONE can make these!!

This is how I made them:
I took some candy bars, black and red card stock and pink polka dot paper.

For the big candy bars, I cut the black paper 5 1/2 inches by 6 inches.  I then wrapped the paper around it and taped it in the back.

Then I added the red and pink polka dot paper.  I cut those 2 1/2 by 6 inches and then wrapped them around and taped them.

Using a hole punch, I cut out the circles for the ears and buttons on Mickey.

I then glued the ears, bows and buttons on with a glue gun (because it’s quicker).  Aren’t they so much fun?  I made these for my little girl’s class.  There are 4 girls and 2 boys in her class.

I also thought that the little miniature candy bars would be awesome too (and they are!).  These are great if your child has a bigger class and you don’t want to spend as much money.  I just used the candy bars that you get 8 for a $1.  I wrapped them with black card stock that I cut to be 2 3/4 inches by 3 inches.  The red and pink polka dot paper I cut to be 1 1/2 inches by 3 inches.

I also cut out some circles and bows and glued them on.  Aren’t they so cute?  I love the little miniature ones!

Of course I had to come up with some fun sayings for the Valentines, so I made several different printables for them.

For the bigger candy bars, I glued the saying onto the back of the candy bar.

And for the little ones I just glued them right onto the printable.   I cannot wait to give these out to my little girl’s class!

These also would make great party favors too.  So I made up a printable for Minnie Mouse but you could also make up the Mickey ones too and they would make great party favors too!
