One of my favorite things that I made for my craft room are these chevron mirrors. I love how they turned out and how they look on the wall. They added to a wall that was very boring and full of doors and gave it more color and life!
This is how I made them:
I took some mirrors that I got from Ikea.
Using my Silhouette Studio, I used a chevron background. I measured the frame and made it the same size as the frame . Then I measured the mirror and made a square for the inside. .
I cut the chevron out of grey vinyl.
Using transfer paper, I transferred the vinyl to the mirror.
This part took some time, making sure it was all lined up. Then I taped off the mirror.
I spray painted the whole thing green.
Once it was dry, I carefully peeled off the vinyl and then removed the tape.
And that’s it! I did the same thing for the blue one but for the grey one, it just has vinyl. I wanted it to look a little different than the other two.
Let’s keep in touch!

Cute! I've been waiting for this post! But I am going to have to find a different way to do mine because I don't have a Silhouette. Any suggestions??

Very pretty! I think I will look for some Chevron scrapbook paper or fabric with my handy dandy Mod Podge to get a similar look… thanks for sharing!
