Whatever Wednesday: Fun Sign

June 2, 2010 by Kaysi 20 Comments

I found this sign at a garage sale for $.50. I really didn’t care for the saying (especially since I don’t drink!) but I love the color and chunkiness of the frame. So I picked it up.
I just quickly painted it black and then mod podged some words onto it. I think it looks much better now!!

I didn't mind the happy hour but it also looks fun now and I like the layout you used. It gives these words a fresh twist.

That is a great idea. It seems you can always find something like that that you love but it says the wrong thing or is the wrong color. Just redo it. Yours looks great.

I always admire someone who can see the potential in something. It is an art. Those aprons look like just the first sewing project for me. Thanks for visiting my blog and for leaving the comment.

Wow, this looks great. Although that first sign is pretty awesome too. And it would pretty much guarantee that you never got a big calling at church….

Cute! I like the idea of buying a sign at a garage sale and re-doing it. I'll have to keep my eye open this weekend!

I'm stopping by from Between Naps on the Porch. Have a great Monday!
