One of my favorite things about iron-on vinyl is that you can change a plain white shirt and make it super cute! With a baby coming very soon, I thought it would be fun to spruce up one of his plain white onesies.
I got to try some fun colors of Cricut’s new iron on vinyl, I got the colors red, yellow and black.
This is how I made the onesie.
I took just a regular onesie. It’s so tiny!
This in CRR I got my words and mustache all arranged. I used Extreme Fonts cartridge for the words and Close to my Heart cartridge for the mustache.
With the iron on, you have to flip the words horizontally. There is a little button on the top to do that.
I placed the iron on vinyl shiny side down and then cut it out with my Expression 2. I used the blade setting of 3 and depth of 3.
First I ironed on the mustache.
Then I layered the words over the mustache and ironed them on.
And that’s it! I love how it looks with the red and black!
Now I just need a little baby to put it in!
