Pi Day

March 14, 2013 by Kaysi 1 Comment

Did you know that today is Pi Day?  Did you know that there was even a day called that?  I just found out a couple of years ago because of blog land.  It’s pretty funny to me.  We really don’t do much for it, but I thought this year it would be fun to bust out some yummy pies for Pi day.
Marie Callender’s pies are great for just that!  I’m thinking for lunch I’m going to enjoy myself some yummy pot pie.  They are super yummy and can be cooked in the microwave.

Plus they have really good meat in them, not the cheap dark stuff but the good white meat!  And the veggies are super yummy too and nice and big!

For dessert I’m thinking of having my husband’s favorite kind of pie, pumpkin pie!
Marie Callender’s pies are prefect for today, especially if you’re like me and don’t want to take the time to make a pie from scratch but want to be fun and enjoy pie on Pi Day! For more fun party ideas for today, visit the Marie Callender’s blog.
There is even a $1.50 off coupon, so you can enjoy the yummy pie and save money.
Do you have any fun plans to celebrate Pi Day?  Please do share!

I remember the first time I ever ate a Marie. Calendars pie I was in San Antonio Texas. Best thing I ever ate. I was a teenager and on a first date with some boy. Lol. Love their strawberry pie.
