While shopping at Target, I came across some Spiderman folders on clearance for $.25. I was super excited and picked up four of them ( I should have gotten more, to use as folders). I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them. I cut them down to size and then just glued them onto gift boxes that I bought at the dollar store. And just like that I have another decoration that was easy and cheap! Now with the gift boxes, I’m finally done with my 5 year old son’s room. For about $15 I decorated the whole room. Now all I need is a comforter.
Whatever Wednesday: Spiderman Gift Boxes
Here’s the all the decorations:
Gift boxes $2
Art hanging: $1
Curtains $8
Light switches: $1
Frames: $2
I’m super excited about how everything turned out! Hopefully as he gets older he will still like Spiderman and he thinks he is still cool. I don’t want to have to change it anytime soon! 🙂

That is the problem with kids rooms when you do a theme. They tend to change their mind quickly. Everything looks darling. I love the idea with the gift boxes. So cute.

You did great, Kaysi!
For a comforter, check around for a solid blue or red one- that way, as he grows, you can change the room around it, without replacing the bedding.

You have such a good eye to see a folder and think "art work"! I absolutely LOVE the curtains. I need to make some soon and will use yours as inspiration.
