Whatever Wednesday: Pants turned into baby outfit!

February 16, 2011 by Kaysi 16 Comments

By now you probably know that I like color. Well I have always loved color, especially in high school. I had some awesome turquoise pants (yes I did wear them!). I liked them so much that I have a maroon pair too. I was a little crazy in high school :). Anyway, now that I’m a little older, I really can’t pull off this bright of color. So I decided to cut them up and make something cute for my daughter.
Here are the pants. I will miss them….

And here is the super cute outfit. I love it! I made a circle skirt and then cut several circles, singed the edges and sewed it onto a onesie. And then made a matching clip.

Here is my super cute girl in her outfit! Isn’t she so stinkin’ cute!! I love having a little girl! 🙂

So Adorable! The outfit is cute, too! It makes me a little sad that I dropped off so much clothes at goodwill. I could be mining those old clothes for fun fabric. Thanks for sharing.

Love the refashion (and the bright aqua blue) just gorgeous… I had the maroon pair of these lovely pants when they were all the fashion – seeing this remake makes me wish I'd held onto them 😀
    Cheers

I totally had these pants in hot pink and black with the same leopards look to them! I believe I wore it with a baby tee that Im positive said "whatever" on it! And may or may not have been wearing a neon smiley face backpack! Ohh how I miss middle school! 🙂 Thanks for the nostalgia! And the outfit looks absolutely adorable! You did a great job!

She is so stinkin' cute!!! Love the outfit! I'm not sure I could have pulled off the turquoise pants even in high school. But I love how it looks on her!

Very cute! I have an old dress that doesn't get worn anymore–I may try this, too.
