HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my awesome husband!!

Today is my husband birthday!!!  This is the first time in 4 years that he has had to work on his birthday (his other job gave him the day off).  So I wanted to surprise him at work.  I let all of my kids pick out a balloon to give to him. 

We all know the way to a man’s heart is food.  Well for my husband, the way to his heart is Coke Zero and a burrito from Café Rio!  So I took him out to lunch!

 

We are having a really simple birthday this year, I usually have a little party with friends but tomorrow we are going out of town (we just learned about it yesterday) so it’s a little crazy right now.  The boys and me at least made him a few things.

My 7 year old made him a book all about birthdays and his Dad.

This was my favorite page of all, if you can’t read it is says “You’re nice all the some times.  Sometimes mean.  You can do a lot of things especially you can love!”  I seriously laughed out loud when I saw that he had crossed out “all the”.
