4th of July Shirt

June 21, 2012 by Kaysi 8 Comments

I made this fun 4th of July shirt for my little girl, I love it!
american flag shirt
I took a shirt and some red sleeves from other shirt that I refashioned.

I got the sleeves until 1” strips

Then I ruffled them

Then I pinned and sewed them onto the shirt.

Next I took a 2×2 inch piece of blue fabric (from another sleeve from another refashion) and then sewed it onto the shirt.

Now for the fun star!!!  I took my CAMEO and cut out the star image that I got with the starter kit.  I used the blade setting of 3, and thickness of 33.

I peeled away the back and the placed it onto the backer board.

I filled it with rhinestones.

Using the transfer paper, I moved it to the shirt.  Then I ironed it onto the blue square using the wool setting on my iron.

And just like that, my daughter has a super cute flag shirt to wear this 4th of July!!

I just love the ruffles and the rhinestones!
