I headed to Fred Meyer to pick up some Huggies Little Snugglers diapers for my little guy. For all 5 of my kids I have gotten Huggies because they work the best for my kids, especially my 4 boys. All the other diapers that we have used either leaked in some way or didn’t hold up to their crazy amounts of playing. Huggies have always done great with my crazy kids. The Little Snugglers are available in sizes up to 4, at Kroger stores, plus they are super soft. They also have the wetness indicator on them to show if the diaper is wet or not, which is really nice. Plus they have Gentleabsorb® liner and a improved pocket backed waistband, all reasons why I love Huggies and why they are the only diapers that I buy for my kids.
Easy DIY Huggies Diaper and Wipes Pouch

It’s sad to say and hard to believe, but my “baby” isn’t really a baby anymore. He is a full blown, high energy, toddler! I get excited for when they get to the toddler age because they become more independent and I don’t have to lug around a huge diaper bag where ever we go. But one down side of not having a diaper bag is when we are out and about and I need to change him and I don’t have diapers… it’s not a good combination. Since I’m done with the diaper bag and never plan on buying one again, I decided to make a diaper and wipes pouch instead. It was super easy to make and it’s super cute and it goes perfectly in my purse (rather than just having a diaper and wipes in there, this looks so much better!).
This is how I made the diaper and wipes pouch:
All you will need is some fabric and then the Huggies diapers and wipes.
I cut two pieces of fabric 10.5″ high by 13″ wide, these will be the front and back of the pouch.
Then I cut two more pieces for the pockets inside that will hold the diapers and wipes. One was 10.5″ high and 12.5″ wide and the other one was 10.5″ high and 11″ wide. These will be folded in half for the pocket.
I folded the two pocket pieces and then sewed them to the outside of one of the front/back pieces. I just sewed on the right and left sides, to hold them in place while I sew the whole thing together.
Then I pinned on a 5″ piece of elastic onto one side (this will be to close the pouch with a button).
I placed the other front/back piece onto it and then sewed all of the sides together, leaving a 3 inch gap on one of the sides so I could turn it right side out.
I turned it right side out and then did a top stitch all around the edges.
Then using a needle and thread, I sewed on a big button onto it (make sure not to go through all the fabric, just the top fabric).
And that’s it!! It was seriously so easy to make, it’s definitely a less than 30 minute craft! I put in 3 of the Huggies diapers and a little pack of wipes and it’s good to go.
The cute button makes it easy to close you don’t have to worry about anything falling out.
It fits perfect in my purse and it looks so much better than just having a diaper and wipes in there.
My little guy was pretty excited about it too!
Oh man I love kids in just diapers, they are so stinkin’ cute!
If your little one is in diapers (even if you still have a diaper bag) this is a great craft to make. Plus it would be a great gift too! And before to you go and get more diapers click here to save $2 on Huggies Little Snugglers at Fred Meyer, part of the Kroger family of stores, now through 5/30, while supplies last!
