There is a huge mustache trend right now. I personally don’t understand it, but there are some things that I think are cute and hilarious. I guess that in November, they are a symbol of prostate cancer, maybe people like it so much that it just kept going.
Having boys, it’s something that works great with them, so I thought up this idea for Valentine’s Day.
This is how I made it:
Using my Cricut, I cut some mustaches out of black card stock. I used depth 6 and pressure 5. It cut so well (this was my first time with card stock). I used the cartridge Close to my Heart.
Aren’t they so fun?!
I made a little tag to put the sucker in. You can get the free printable here.
I put a little hole in the middle of the mustache. I always wrap the bottom of the sucker with tape so the wrapper doesn’t come off when I’m working with it.
I cut a couple of slits into the tag and placed the sucker in it.
I put some tape on the back of the mustache. A couple drops of hot glue would work too.
I put the mustache on the sucker and then had my son sign the card.
I just taped the mustache onto the sucker, so they could easily take it off and then put it on when they unwrap it.
My kids have had fun with them today! They thought it was pretty funny!

I love it.. Now I have another Cart to pick up for my Cricut.. not that we do "staches" much but it is a fun idea to send along to my Grand kids in their cards.

Ok Kaysi these are adorable! I can't believe you are already getting Valentines done! I love the mustache when they suck on them. My kids are growing out of these, darn, maybe I can convince Kenzi to make some for her little friends!

This is such a cute idea! I'm going to do some for my son's class this year. On the Cricut website they have a digital cartridge of 6 mustaches and glasses right now for $1.50, so I just downloaded that and I'm ready to get started! Thanks for sharing!
