This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Lean Cuisine, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #HonestlyGood #ad http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.
Most of you know that recently I had my 5th baby. Whenever I have a baby, I always go on a health kick to get myself back to my normal self. I just want to have a fresh new start and get out of that frumpy stage. To get more healthy I have been training for a half marathon (which got canceled last weekend) and then I have been “dieting”. I have been watching what I have been eating and I have completely given up candy and ice cream (my two favorite things to over eat). I am still trying to lose the baby weight and one major problem I have is lunch. I can never decide on what I want for lunch, so I end up just snacking on things and never really getting a good meal. I am always looking for a quick, easy and not messy meal that I can eat that is healthy and still yummy.
Recently Lean Cuisine has come out with a new line called #HonestlyGood.
They have 6 different kinds of the honestly good collection at Target. All of them are 100% natural and have a sauce that you can add yourself. The 6 kinds are: Pomegranate Chicken, Honey Citrus Chicken, Lemongrass Salmon, Roasted Red Pepper Chicken, Pineapple Black Pepper Beef, and Plum Ginger Grain-Crusted Fish.
I decided to try out the Pomegranate Chicken one because I love pomegranate and it looked so yummy. This is what it looked like frozen, with the separate sauce. I love how easy and quick it is. It took about 6 minutes to make. Plus there was no clean up!
This was so amazing. I ate the whole thing! The veggies were so good, crisp (I can’t stand soggy food) and had a ton of favor and the pomegranate gave the chicken a nice sweet taste.
If you are trying to eat more healthy, these are a great idea for a meal. As you can tell by the pictures, they are fairly large and will fill you up for lunch or dinner.
A have a few other tricks to help me to eat healthy. I try to have a glass of water with my meals to keep me hydrated and make me fill more full so I don’t over eat. I also try not to buy my favorite junk foods. Like when I buy chips, I don’t buy my favorite kind, cheddar and sour cream, because I know I would eat the whole bag. Instead I buy the ones that aren’t as enjoyable to me. That way when I want some chips, I can have a couple but not have the desire to eat the whole bag.
I will definitely be putting these honestly good meals into my diet to help me lose the baby weight. They are going to be perfect for my lunches. They are big enough that I will be able to last to dinner without snacking. I can’t wait to try all 6 of them! Which one looks the best to you?
I would love it if you followed along.
