Fabric squares

December 7, 2009 by Kaysi 1 Comment

While shopping at Hobby Lobby, I found some square canvas looking things that had a horrible design, argyle with a picture a lady by a river. They were only a $1 so I saw the potential in them and picked up three. I covered the whole canvas with fabric and used a staple gun to secure it. I used some striped fabric and stapled that to the back also.

I just used fake flowers and fastened them with brads. The brads were silver, but I was able to dye them with crystal effects and some ink pad ink. I just stuck the brad through the fabric and the canvas. To get the words, I used my brown StazOn pad and stamped directly onto the fabric. For the white, I stamped with a white StazOn pad, but it wasn’t dark enough so I carefully went over the letters with white paint.

This is sooooo clever!! What a fun wall hanging.
I just read that we have an inner need to be creative, so that is why you want and like to do this. And you are sure being creative! Wow!
