Whatever Wednesday: Angry Birds Masks

February 1, 2012 by Kaysi 10 Comments

For my son’s third birthday party, I wanted to make something that the kids could play with at the party but also be part of the party favors.  Then I saw this idea and knew that I had to make it!
This is how I made them:
1) Using felt, I cut all the pieces of the mask.  This was enough to make two masks.  They were about 6 inches wide and 5 inches tall.
2) I pinned all of the pieces in place.  I used elastic on the sides, to put around their heads.
3) I sewed all of the pieces on.  I just used white thread (because I was too lazy to switch it out…).
4) I then cut out the eye holes and sewed around them.
These ended up being really easy.  One took about 10 to 15 minutes.  I made eight of them.
