Root Beer Reindeer Neighbor Gift

December 20, 2012 by Kaysi 2 Comments

This week I finally got around to making my neighbors gifts.  I have been planning on doing this for at least a month, but just haven’t sat down to do it until this week.  I decided to make them some Root Beer reindeer along with some reindeer droppings.

This is how I made it:
I took the 6 pack of root beer in the glass bottles and then added eyes, pom poms for the nose and pipe cleaners for the antlers.

I designed a little tag and then printed it onto printable vinyl.  I did this because I didn’t want to ruin the cute jars with glue or mod podge.  This way they can take off the tag and use it for something else.  Here are the free printable tags.

I peeled off the back and put them onto this jars.  I filled the jars with whoppers and milk duds.

I took the cardboard carrier case and spray painted it red.  It I was only doing one or two I would have decorated it with Christmas paper.  I added the tag and then some ribbon to the handle.

I filled the case with the root beer.

And that’s it!  I think that they turned out cute and fun.

I made 8 of them for all of my “neighbors”.

I know that this is a little late, but it’s super easy to make and you could have your kids help too!

I would love it if you followed along.
