My kids have loved the Angry Birds cans and the Halloween cans that I have made for them. So I decided to that these would be perfect as a Christmas party game. It’s fun because both kids and adults like to play it (there is something about throwing something and trying to knock things down that bring out the kid in all of us). If you don’t plan on having a party, then these are perfect to make to give them something to do during Christmas break, if it’s too cold outside to play.
This is how I made them:
First I spray painted food cans various colors.
Then I cut out some vinyl shapes with my Cricut.
For the reindeer, I painted it brown and then added the vinyl. I used the cartride Doodlecharms
For the penguin, I painted it black and added the face with vinyl. I used the cartridge Create a Critter
For the snowman, I painted it white and then added the face out of vinyl. I used the cartridge Snow Friends.
For the elf, I painted it green and then added a belt and buttons.
For the Santa, I painted it red and then added a gold belt and buttons.
Here they are all lined up ready to play. Aren’t they so much fun?
I used a red ball and just added a belt and buttons to make it a Santa ball.
Then I let the kids go wild!! They all had a blast!
