Light Bulb Sucker Neighbor Gift #freeprintable

It’s crazy as it sounds, it’s time to start thinking about Christmas.  I don’t like to decorate or really do anything for it until December but I still have to start thinking about what kind of things I’m going to make and buy.  Every year I love to make neighbor gifts. And it seems like the thing to give is food or candy (because it’s super easy and yummy).  Well when I saw these fun light bulb suckers from Oriental Trading, I knew that they would be perfect to give me my kids’ classmates and friends.  

I got a big box of Christmas stuff from Oriental Trading.  They have such fun stuff and great prices! I’m so excited for the kid crafts kits that I got!

For the suckers I made a fun free printable to put onto them. I made a bunch of different designs and printed them out.  You can get your free printable from here.   

I cut them all over and using my paper trimmer, I put little slits into the paper.  They are about an inch wide.

Then I stuck the sucker in.  So easy!  Perfect because I got 4 dozen of these to give out.

I wanted to display the suckers in these little pails.  I’m going to give the pail to the teacher and then let the kids come and get a sucker.  So in order to have the suckers stick out, I just cut some card board into a circle and then poked holes into it.  I filled the pail with bubble wrap so the sucker wouldn’t go down too deep.

Then I stuck them in.

I made a little tag for the pail and glued the paper on.

And that’s it!  Aren’t they fun!  I think the kids will really like them.
