Harry Hook from Descendants 2 Kids Costume

Have you seen the new Descendants 2 movie? My kids are OBSESSED with it! Especially my four year old. He has it on repeat all. the. time. He loves Harry Hook (he is the son of Captain Hook) and when I asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween, he immediately told me Harry! Since the movie is still really new (it came out this summer) they don’t have all the character costumes yet, like Harry Hook, so I had to improvise. This costume isn’t 100% home made but it’s not 100% store bought either. Either way, he loves it and that is what matters (please it was pretty as far as costumes go!).

This is what I did for the costume. I ordered a Captain Hook costume and then turned it into Harry Hook. I used the pants and the jacket of the costume but that’s it.

Here are the things that I added to make the costume look more like Harry Hook.

And here is the costume put altogether! I love it so much! I bought the hat and hook online but the belts I went to a thrift store and picked up a few for $1-2.

Isn’t he the cutest Harry Hook pirate that you have ever seen? Oh my goodness he is so stinkin’ cute and he’s sooooooo excited about his costume. I think he will be wearing it everyday until Halloween!
