Happy weekend everyone! We are slowly adjusting and getting settled. I’m really starting to decorate and getting things onto the walls (yay!). I am still not used to being so far away from everything. That will take some time.
This Monday (Labor Day) we decided to go to Scottsbluff, NE to go shopping. It’s sad to me that a little town of 14K seems like a city to me. Anyway, we left at 9:30am and didn’t get home until after 5. We went to three stores and it took us 8 hours! I miss civilization that’s for sure.

Another thing that I have to get use to is the idea of burning our garbage. We live way too far out for trucks.

My three year old starting preschool this week (I’m boring when it comes to 1st day of school pictures…. maybe next year I’ll make a fun sign). Isn’t he a doll though?! He was excited to go and did great. I had to potty train him in a week in order from him to go. He is doing great with #1, no accidents! #2 is another story….
And lastly this past week we get callings in our branch of 30 people. In our church each person gets an assignment to serve the ward or branch. I was called to the primary presidency. There are 3 of us in the whole primary (kids ages 3-11). So tomorrow for church I get to: write a talk, prepare singing time and prepare a primary lesson. The days of not having anything to do on Sundays is over.
I hope that you are having a WONDERFUL weekend! Fall is definitely coming, so we are going to be out enjoying the cooler weather here!
