I have a little guy that is obsessed with trains. I made him a train shirt last year but he got too big, so he requested a new one. I thought it would be fun to use Cricut’s new iron on vinyl and the fun colors they have to make a colorful train shirt.
This is how I made it:
In Cricut Craft Room, I got the train all arranged and aligned, exactly how I wanted it. The cartridge I used was my community for the train and CRR basics for the font.
I then separated the train onto different sections of the mat, these are all going to be different colored iron on. I then flipped the image horizontally. You have to do that whenever you have words.
I then placed all of the different colors of the iron on vinyl, with the shiny side down on to the mat and cut the images. I used the blade setting of 3 and pressure of 3.
Using a regular iron, I ironed on the train.
And just like that, my son has a fun train shirt!
I would love it if you followed along.

This is SO cute! My little engineer loves trains. I'm still figuring out my Silhouette, but this looks like a great project for me. Pinning!
