Easy Valentine’s Day Décor Idea: Washi Tape Heart

Valentine’s Day is coming up soon and I needed a quick and easy decor that I could make to decorate my dining room.  This one was perfect because it only took about 10 minutes and I LOVE how it turned out.  You really can’t go wrong with washi tape.  It’s awesome, especially when you have lots of different fun designs and colors.  

This is how I made it:

I cut out two hearts and then used lots of fun different washi tapes.  

I then put the washi tape on the heart on the diagonal.  

Then I trimmed the sides of the heart. I then glued the other heart onto a piece of pink paper.

Then using pop dots, I put the heart on top of it.  I love the 3D look of it.  If you don’t have pop dots, you can use other things to give it dimension.  I actually couldn’t find my pop dots, so I used buttons :). 

I put it in a frame (without the glass) and put it on my dining table.  

I seriously love how it turned out.  

It’s fun to have some festive things on my table to brighten up my dining room.
