Fashionable Fridays

March 16, 2012 by Kaysi 7 Comments

I’m not a super stylish person, you may have noticed.  I rarely get dressed in the week (I’m seriously in my pjs for most of the day) and when I do get dressed I don’t wear anything cute.  Because I don’t do myself up, I sometimes feel down.  I always feel a ton better when I wear cute clothes and do my hair.  Then someone on my facebook page suggested that I do a what I wear post once a week.  I wasn’t going to do it because I hate taking pictures of myself.  But then I thought that if it got me to get dressed in the week, then it’s worth doing.  So I’m going to attempt to do a post once a week on what I wore that week.  Most likely it will be what I wore on Sunday because that’s the only day that I really actually wear cute things.
Remember, I’m not very stylish at all…..
This Sunday I wore the ruffle green skirt that I made last spring.  With a pair of brown boots I picked up at DI for $4.  And I’m pretty sure I got this shirt at Ross, I love Ross!  Sunday is the only day that I ever wear jewelry.  This is my favorite brown necklace, got it at Maurices for $.75.  And the green bracelet I picked up in Mexico for $3.
I have no clue how to pose for the camera… I look like a dork in these pictures.
This day I just wore a simple green argyle sweater I found at a garage sale for $.50.  Then some Arizona khakis from JcPenneys, my favorite brand of jeans.
Any tips on how to be more fashionable?  Any tips on how to pose for the camera?  I still need to figure out how to do my hair….

Looking lovely! The green skirt is gorgeous. I'm totally going to do this now as I too spend most of my life in PJ's. Maybe we should link up on a Friday for motivation (as I'm useless!!) Take care x

what? didn't know that about you and your pj's 😉

I'm complete opposite – I am up and dressed with accessories everyday even if the only time I leave the house is to take the kids to school! 🙂

Sweet deals you got on your jewelry! Love the argyle top and also your green skirt you made.
