Christmas is my favorite time of the year.  It’s so fun to get out the fun and festive decorations and feel like a kid again.  I love eating sweet treats, drinking hot chocolate and having Christmas music blaring in the background.  It’s such a fun time of year!!  And of course it’s so fun to do things for my kids (not just myself 😉 ).  Pudding has always been one of my favorite treats, growing up and now.  It’s just so good!!  And Snack Packs are so yummy and make the perfect snack or treat, plus they go perfectly for kids’ school lunch.  I made up a few Christmas Snack Packs and the kids loved them!  These will be perfect for an afternoon snack or for their lunch boxes.

I headed to WALMART to pick up the Snack Packs.  I found them in the baking aisle with the other pudding. My 9 YO was pretty excited to get the super sized ones because the more, the better!

I picked up three different kinds of the Snack Packs: Chocolate, Vanilla and Chocolate Vanilla.

This is how I made the Christmas tree pudding:
This is what you’ll need:
Snack Pack pudding
Strawberries
OREOS
Green candy melts
Red and green candies
Paper cut to 3″ by 9″

The first thing I did was covered the pudding cup with some fun Christmas paper (I used a few dabs of hot glue to keep the paper on).  Then I crushed the OREOS to make the dirt and put it on top of the pudding.

I melted the candy melts in the microwave and then dipped the strawberries into it.  Then I placed the strawberries onto wax paper and added the candies (to look like little ornaments). I then put it into the fridge to let them cool and harden.

Once they were cool and hard, I put them on top of the pudding cups.  And that’s it!!  So easy to make and they were so yummy!  My kids loved them!

For my kids’ school lunches, I decided to turn the cups into fun Christmas characters: Santa, Rudolph and a snowman.  For Santa I cut some red paper 3″x 9″ and then cut out a black belt, buttons and a gold buckle out of vinyl.  For Rudolph, I cut out antlers from card stock and then a red nose, green strap, white and black eyes from vinyl.  And for the snowman I cut out the orange nose and black circles for the face out of vinyl.

I put the vinyl and paper onto the pudding cups, aren’t they cute?!

I then added some baker’s twine and a bell to Rudolph (I also drew him a mouth) and a washi tape scarf for the snowmen.  Then I printed off some funny Christmas jokes to put with the Snack Packs. You can get the printables here.

And that’s it!!  Super easy to make and they are so fun and cute!

Hi, Kaysi! I love the snowman pudding cup! Would you mind sharing the cut file for it? My little on has her party on Friday and those would be perfect =)
