Fun Fall Necklace- DIY Candy Corn Necklace

October 13, 2015 by Kaysi 1 Comment

Candy corn is one of those candies that you either love it or hate it.  I actually hate it.  It’s gross to me.  But I love the look of it and it’s just a fun candy because it reminds of fall and Halloween.  One of my favorite necklaces that I have made is my ombre wooden beads necklace I made a couple years back.  I love it so much that I decided to make one that is very similar to it but in the colors of candy corn.  It’s a perfect necklace for the fall!

This is how I made it:
I took some wooden beads in two different sizes and then painted them white, orange and yellow with acrylic paint.  To keep the paint from smearing, I put a pencil in the hole and painted it and then put it onto a dish.

Once the beads were dry, I put them onto a piece of knit fabric.  I taped the ends of the fabric (I made an aglet) to help me put the beads on.

And that’s it!  Super easy to make and it’s so much fun!

I love how it looks on too!  I can make it short or long and I can wear it with several different colors!

Very cute! Not a huge candy corn eater but I do love the color combination. Great way to "chic" it up. 🙂
