Who doesn’t love glitter? I am seriously loving it right now, so I decided to make this fun glitter candle.
This is how I made it:
I cut out some vinyl with my Cuttlebug.
Somedays I just get plain lazy and I don’t want to get out my Expressions 2 to cut vinyl, so just use my Cuttlebug instead. It’ only takes a couple of seconds and it does a great job cutting vinyl (or paper).
I put the vinyl onto the candle.
Then I put a layer of mod podge onto the the candle.
I then sprinkled some glitter onto the mod podge.
I peeled off the vinyl.
And that’s it!
I did the same thing to a red candle using silver glitter.

Thank you, this worked. I hopped over from pinterest. I used smaller hearts on smaller candles, and was worried that the design would not show up very well. My mistake was in using clear acetate for the heart sticker. When I used the mod podge and glitter, I mod podged too much, and couldn't find the heart, and had to rub off a lot of glitter to find it again. It was kind of sticky since I overdid the mod podge, so I wiped it off, and used a sharpie to color it in so I could find it. This time, I was careful to not mod podge on the heart and it worked much better. If I did it again, I think I would make the heart a little bigger and/or use finer glitter.
